ERA transforms environmental performance of HQ with 100% renewable energy
As part of its commitment to achieving absolute reduction in Scope 2 emissions as validated by the Science Based Target Initiatives (SBTi), ERA, one of the UK’s leading home security and fenestration component providers, has signed a Power Purchase Agreement backed by a Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin (REGOs) certificate. It confirms 100% of ERA’s Headquarters in the West Midlands is powered through renewable energy source.
This aligns with ERA’s parent company, Tyman’s, validated targets by SBTi to reduce absolute scope 1 and scope 2 Greenhouse Gas emissions by 46.2% by 2030 and reduce absolute scope 3 Greenhouse Gas emissions from purchased goods and services by 27.5% within the same timeframe.
This forms part of the Group’s wider commitment to achieving sustainable operations, which includes providing 100% sustainable packaging across the Group by 2026 and updating company cars to all-electric alternatives, in addition to the installation of EV charging points.
