ERA sets the standard for security with new TS 008 Letterplate from Fab&Fix
ERA is continuing to support its extensive network of fabrication partners in providing homeowners with the highest standards of certification and performance with the launch of its new Nu Mail Shield TS 008 Letterplate.
Specifically designed to prevent access through the letterplate via fishing or reaching, the independently certified TS 008 letterplate has a restricted flap to protect the property within, automatically closing when not in use to prevent damage to interior walls. Shield provides a stylish slimline aesthetic to the inside of the door designed to provide maximum protection against potential attacks, whilst simultaneously ensuring clear access for postal items.
Available in eight distinctive finishes, which perfectly match over 200 hardware products within the extensive Fab&Fix portfolio, the letterplate is supplied in separate internal and external sections to allow customers to choose finishes that compliment both the interior and exterior door colours, which are often different".
Suitable for fabrication with timber and composite doors, the letterplate can be installed across a range of door thicknesses from 44mm to 70mm, and is supplied with all fixings to support easy and efficient installation.

The complete letterplate has undergone thorough independent testing to conform to the TS 008:2015 security standard, whilst also meeting the requirements of PAS 24 and Secured by Design to provide homeowners with complete peace of mind and protection.
Tested to 20,000 cycles at ERA’s test house, the fully matched metal frame and flap also meet the requirements of BS EN 1670:2007 Grade 5, providing enhanced weather performance that delivers lasting colour protection for first class aesthetics.
