ERA introduces new finish to popular range of locks and latches
ERA, one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of home security and fenestration products, has launched a new matte black finish to its range of 3 Lever Mortice Locks, Bathroom Mortice Locks and CE Tubular Latches.
Already available in chrome effect and brass effect finishes, the 3 Lever Mortice Locks which are suitable for timber and composite doors, can now be purchased in matte black. This low-cost mortice lock offers additional security for internal doors and in outdoor applications, such as sheds.
Complete with an easily reversible sashbolt, the mortice lock is available as either a sashlock or deadlock in 64mm (21⁄2”) and 76mm (3”) backsets. In addition, rebate kits are available in 12.7mm (1⁄2”) and 25.4mm (1”). The lock is supplied with two numbered steel keys with over 100 variations.
In addition, ERA has launched a new finish to its Bathroom Mortice Lock, specifically used in bathroom door applications. Like the 3 Lever Mortice Lock, the new matte black finish, is offered alongside a chrome and brass effect. All three options are suitable for internal timber doors.
The easily reversable latch bolt can be fitted to both left and right hinged doors and inward and outward opening doors. Available in both 64mm (21⁄2”) and 76mm (3”) backsets, the lock features a deadbolt operated by a thumbturn handle.
In addition, ERA has introduced a matte black finish to its UKCA CE Tubular Latch offering. Tested to CE, UKCA and BS EN 12209, the internal CE Tubular Latch is suitable for use on fire and smoke resisting 30-minute and 60-minute timber-based doorsets, when used in conjunction with lever handles or knobs handles, and a compatible intumescent strip. The Tubular Latch is suitable for doors from 35mm – 54mm thick, and also comes in a brass, zinc and matte black effect.
The 3 Lever Mortice Lock comes with ERA’s five-year mechanical guarantee from date of purchase, and the CE Tubular Latch and Bathroom Mortice Lock offer a one-year mechanical guarantee.
