Purchasing an ERA Protect cover plan
Add an ERA Protect cover plan to your order when you purchase an alarm or camera. ERA Protect Plus and Premium Plus can be purchased as an annual cover plan online or monthly and annually from within the ERA Protect app (once downloaded). If a recurring monthly cover plan is required, this must be set up from within the app itself.
Add either a Plus or Plus Premium annual cover plan to your basket and we will send you a cover plan card containing a unique code. Scratch off the panel on the card to reveal the code. In the app, navigate to Account settings, select ‘Service level required’, tap ‘I have a subscription code’ and then follow the on-screen instructions.

Please note:
All alarms and cameras are supplied with an ERA Plus cover plan for the first 3 months free. This includes 30-day rolling storage for the camera and alarm, plus 4G SIM back-up on any purchased alarm. The free 3-month Plus cover plan period will activate on App account creation and will automatically end after 3-months and a paid cover plan will be required. A paid cover plan can be purchased either via the app itself, online or via our customer service team. Any subsequent cover plans cannot be added to your account until the initial 3-month period has expired but can be purchased online or via customer service at the point of purchase. Once the initial 3-month period has ended, the app will then prompt you to enter the cover plan details.
Single camera packages are available to purchase per camera (up to 4) or upgrade to a Plus package for more benefits. A camera will record on the alarm trigger for the first 3 months only if no further cover plan package has been signed up for and only for Plus packages after that point. Plus Premium can only be activated if the account has at least 1 alarm hub and 1 camera installed. You can only unlock the Plus Premium option once a camera is added to your existing alarm account.
System requirements:
A compatible iPhone, iPad or Android device, the ERA Protect app from iTunes or Google Play and an Internet Connection. For internet connectivity, a spare Ethernet port (RJ45 connector) on your router is required. The ERA Protect Plus service is required for use of a pre-installed SIM card for SIM back up or SIM only mode.

3 months free video cloud storage included from date of activation, after which an ERA Camera, ERA Protect Plus or Plus Premium storage plan is required to record and access videos.
7 Day Storage Plan for a Single Camera:
This is required for a camera that is 3 months old. Prices start from £2.99 per camera per month (prices are subject to change) or £29.99 for a 12 month subscription. Users are to purchase camera subscriptions via the app. Cameras will record and upload video on motion detection and clips are stored on a rolling 7 days basis.
ERA Protect Plus for Cameras:
An ERA Protect Plus subscription can be added at any time. For cameras, Protect Plus enables all cameras on that account to be covered. The cameras will record and upload video on motion detection and clips are stored on a rolling 30 days basis. If you have 4 or more cameras, then a Protect Plus subscription offers better value for money rather than the single camera 7 day plan. See above for details of the Protect Plus subscription plans.
